In other news

I applied for a veterinary technician position at the animal hospital I worked at when I was in high school. I got the job and I started there on July 5. I have really enjoyed my time there. It's really amazing how much I remember since I haven't worked there in 10 years or so. It all came back to me real quick. I started working there again to regain my lost experiences. Since Cory and I are looking at moving to Texas in January and I am looking at working for or with the local SPCA, I wanted to have more recent experience so I could get a better position there. I love working there and wish I could be there more than just Saturdays. But with a full-time job working with the govt, I can't do it.

Finally...

Well I finally did it! I finally graduated from GMU. I passed my last class on July 24. This has been a long time coming, and I really glad it is over. For a few years, I thought about just giving up and accepting that I wasn't going to get my degree. But with the instance from my husband, I finally did it. I now have my Bachelor's degree in English. In addtion to my bachelor's degree, I also have my Undergraduate Certificate in Computer Information Systems with an emphasis in Networking. Cory says that I need to have an "I love me" wall in our house in Texas. We shall see about that.
